Why I Created This
Today I hear people say this all the time:

Just start cleaning houses.

Just start that.
And sometimes they'll say:
"You'll thank me six months from now."
I understand what they mean.
Sometimes we do overthink things.
But this is how I personally feel:
The work — most of the work — is simple. The start is the struggle.
House cleaning itself can be simple.
But when you don't know how to begin the business, those simple steps can feel confusing.
Where do I find clients?
What do I charge?
What supplies do I need?
How do I give an estimate?
What if a client complains?
How do I keep track of my money?
How many houses should I clean?
Do I need help?
How far should I drive?
That is where the struggle can start.
I know because I went through it.
We Knew How to Clean — But We Didn't Know How to Start
When I first started my business over 18 years ago, I started with a coworker.
We both knew how to clean our own homes.
We weren't afraid of hard work.
But we also knew something else:
We really didn't know how to start a house cleaning business.
So we asked two different people we knew who already owned cleaning businesses if we could work with them for one day.
For free!
We weren't asking them for their clients.
We simply wanted to help them clean for a day so we could see how they cleaned inside a client's home.
Both of them told us:
"No."
They didn't trust anyone around their clients.
And you know what?
We understood.
But that still left us asking:
Now what?
We had to start figuring things out ourselves.
And that is one of the reasons I created this course.

Por Qué Creé Esto
Hoy en día escucho a la gente decir esto todo el tiempo:
“¡Solo comienza!”
Solo comienza el negocio.
Solo escribe el libro.
Solo comienza el blog.
Solo comienza a vender.
Solo comienza a limpiar casas.
Solo comienza esto.
Solo comienza aquello.
Y a veces dirán:
“Me lo agradecerás dentro de seis meses.”
Entiendo lo que quieren decir.
A veces sí pensamos demasiado las cosas.
Pero así es como yo personalmente lo veo:
El trabajo — la mayor parte del trabajo — es simple. Comenzar es la lucha.
La limpieza de casas en sí puede ser simple.
Pero cuando no sabes cómo comenzar el negocio, esos pasos simples pueden sentirse confusos.
¿Dónde encuentro clientes?
¿Cuánto cobro?
¿Qué productos necesito?
¿Cómo doy un estimado?
¿Qué pasa si un cliente se queja?
¿Cómo llevo control de mi dinero?
¿Cuántas casas debería limpiar?
¿Necesito ayuda?
¿Qué tan lejos debería manejar?
Ahí es donde puede comenzar la lucha.
Yo lo sé porque pasé por eso.
Sabíamos Cómo Limpiar — Pero No Sabíamos Cómo Comenzar
Cuando comencé mi negocio hace más de 18 años, comencé con una compañera de trabajo.
Las dos sabíamos cómo limpiar nuestras propias casas.
No le teníamos miedo al trabajo duro.
Pero también sabíamos algo más:
Realmente no sabíamos cómo comenzar un negocio de limpieza de casas.
Así que les preguntamos a dos personas diferentes que conocíamos y que ya tenían negocios de limpieza si podíamos trabajar con ellas por un día.
¡Gratis!
No les estábamos pidiendo sus clientes.
Simplemente queríamos ayudarlas a limpiar por un día para poder ver cómo limpiaban dentro de la casa de un cliente.
Las dos nos dijeron:
“No.”
No confiaban en tener a nadie alrededor de sus clientes.
¿Y sabes qué?
Lo entendimos.
Pero eso todavía nos dejó preguntándonos:
¿Y ahora qué?
Tuvimos que comenzar a descubrir las cosas por nosotras mismas.
Y esa es una de las razones por las que creé este curso.

Aquí comparto consejos, trucos, productos, suministros y patrones de limpieza que he usado a lo largo de los años.
Pero recuerda:
No tienes que limpiar exactamente como yo.
Usa productos que entiendas.
Usa métodos en los que confíes.
Aprende de mi experiencia.
Luego crea un sistema de limpieza que funcione para ti.
Gatea Antes de Caminar
Una cosa que no quiero que hagas es mirar los nueve días y pensar:
“Tengo que saber todo esto antes de poder comenzar.”
No.
Eso no es lo que estoy enseñando.
Te estoy enseñando a:
Gatear antes de caminar.
Un paso.
Luego el siguiente paso.
Luego el siguiente.
No tienes que saberlo todo.
Solo necesitas entender qué viene después.
Y a medida que tu negocio crezca, algunas de estas lecciones tendrán aún más sentido porque comenzarás a experimentarlas por ti misma.
Estoy Compartiendo Lo Que Me Tomó Más de 18 Años Aprender
Cometí errores.
Aprendí de los clientes.
Aprendí de los trabajadores.
Aprendí por poner mal los precios de los trabajos.
Aprendí al perder clientes.
Aprendí de tener excelentes clientes por muchos años.
Y aprendí que tener más trabajo no siempre significa que tienes un mejor negocio.
Mi meta aquí no es decirte:
“Haz todo exactamente como yo lo hice.”
Mi meta es mostrarte lo que aprendí para que puedas verlo, entenderlo y decidir qué tiene sentido para tu propio negocio.
Porque tu negocio debe adaptarse a tu vida.
No al revés.
